Policy on Corporate Citizenship Activities and Philanthropy,” the Sysmex Group has been promoting corporate citizenship activities that lead to the creation of a prosperous, healthy society and vibrant communities.
As a way of enabling Sysmex employees to actively participate in these activities, we hold the Sysmex Gives Back Campaign twice every year. This campaign is a period when corporate citizenship activities are boosted across the whole Group. This year, we conducted a variety of activities in the countries and regions where we operate, including blood donation programs, environmental activities such as tree planting and forest preservation, and support activities for needy people through donations and charity. Approximately 5,000 employees worldwide took part.
During October, Group companies collaborated on activities for PINKTOBER*, which is our name for a month of enhanced activities for the Pink Ribbon breast cancer campaign. The initiatives included donations related to breast cancer awareness programs and participation in charity walks. In November, the 2024 Kobe Marathon, an event we have supported since its inception as a special sponsor, was held and some 130 employees took part in the event as volunteers handing out water to runners.
The whole Sysmex Group will continue to come together in the future to promote corporate citizenship activities that contribute to the realization of a healthy and fulfilling society.
*We created this name by combining the PINK of Pink Ribbon with OCTOBER, the month in which Pink Ribbon activities are carried out.
