Under the Group Mid-Term Management Plan through the fiscal year ending March 31, 2029, Sysmex aims to create value for a healthy society by focusing on two strategic themes: strengthening the competitiveness of our Diagnostics business and advancing medical DX and data utilization.
In our core Diagnostics business, we will roll out flagship models globally, centered on hematology, while accelerating growth in the hemostasis field in Europe and the Americas. At the same time, we will strengthen strategic product offerings and supply capabilities tailored to local needs in high-growth markets, including emerging markets. Through these initiatives, we will contribute to enhancing the safety and productivity of healthcare professionals, improving testing quality, expanding access to healthcare, and reducing healthcare disparities.
Furthermore, by progressively implementing solutions that leverage testing data and AI—such as diagnostic support and laboratory workflow optimization—we will help improve healthcare economics and contribute to building a sustainable healthcare system through medical DX.

At the Global Strategy Committee, which is composed of the President and the Executive Officer in charge, discussions and deliberations are conducted on the Group’s medium- to long-term management direction as well as important strategies and issues.

With the growing occurrence of quality issues and problems that undermine product reliability, societal expectations for the quality and safety of products and services are increasing. At the same time, the scope of corporate responsibility is expanding to the entire value chain, including business partners and customers. In addition, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) call for sustainable production practices and improved labor environments. Under the supervision and management of the President, the Quality Assurance Division leads our quality management efforts. In addition, supply chain management is promoted by the Production and SCM Department, which is overseen by the Senior Executive Officer.
