R&D Structure

Centered in Japan, Sysmex has established a global R&D network that connects R&D centers worldwide.Through this structure, we promote R&D tailored to regional healthcare needs and strengthen collaboration with leading global academic institutions and key opinion leaders (KOLs).We also engage with clinical communities to support the introduction of our products into clinical practice.

Technopark is the R&D hub, developed under the concept of “The Creation of Knowledge and Its Inheritance,” where researchers freely interact and collaborate to foster new ideas. It has established an R&D system that enables seamless and speedy development from initial research to product development.
At Technopark, researchers and engineers specializing in diverse fields such as cells, proteins, and genes actively communicate with one another to promote the creation and integration of advanced technologies.
Our R&D organization consists of three main divisions: R&D, Technology Development, and Product Development. Our development projects are optimally assigned to these divisions based on their technological attributes. In addition, the R&D Support Division supports the entire organization, contributing to efficiency and the quality of research across divisions.
