Why Invest in Sysmex

Ability To Create

R&D supported by diverse technical expertise

As healthcare technology continues to advance, Sysmex has been building a unique R&D framework. Sysmex’s strength lies in its unique approach to R&D ― integrating our proprietary technologies in instruments, reagents, and IT with three measurement technology platforms dedicated to cells, proteins, and genes. In addition, our external partnerships, including open innovation, M&A, and alliances, enable us to continue creating high added-value products and services.
Our R&D capabilities are supported by diverse and highly-specialized talent. Moreover, our 23 R&D locations across nine countries are working closely and integrating their knowledge, and a wide range of technological expertise accumulated worldwide, to develop advanced and creative products and services.

Developing products that meet customer needs

Sysmex develops products and services tailored to specific social issues and needs in individual countries and regions.
Developed countries are seeing an increasing prevalence of age-related diseases and are seeking solutions for medical staff shortages. Therefore, we are developing new testing parameters, such as Alzheimer’s disease assay kits, as well as products that contribute to the productivity of testing laboratories, such as automation systems for testing processes.
As healthcare infrastructure continues to evolve in emerging markets, there is an increasing demand for highly durable and compact diagnostic instruments. To address these needs, we are expanding our presence by providing solutions that facilitate the early detection and prompt treatment of infectious diseases, such as malaria, which remain a significant challenge in these regions.

Pioneering World-first Innovation

Sysmex stays ahead of the evolving environment and continues to provide new value to society through pioneering products.
Our innovative testing and diagnostic technologies address various healthcare challenges. We became the world’s first company to obtain regulatory approval for a blood-based Alzheimer’s disease assay kit, which is one example of our products contributing to healthcare advancement and patient QOL.
To enhance laboratory productivity, we have been continuously evolving by automating sample testing and introducing new transport systems. These efforts also include developing products that streamline testing processes and drastically improve the safety of laboratory technicians.
