Sysmex Introduces Compact Model to CN-Series
Sysmex Corporation (HQ: Kobe, Japan; President: Kaoru Asano) announces the launch of its new product in the hemostasis field, Automated Blood Coagulation Analyzer CN™-700 (“the product”), in Japan in December 2025. The product inherits the analytical technology and operability of the higher-end models Automated Blood Coagulation Analyzer CN™-6000/CN™-3000(“CN-6000/CN-3000”),1 while achieving a more compact design. With the addition of this new model to the CN-Series, Sysmex will contribute to the automation and improved efficiency of a wide range of medical facilities, including those in emerging markets.
Hemostasis testing is important for the diagnosis and treatment of hemorrhagic diseases, such as hemophilia, and thrombotic diseases, such as myocardial and cerebral infarction.
In recent years, the demand for hemostasis testing has been increasing due to the rise in thrombotic diseases caused by lifestyle habits and the development of new blood products. Furthermore, with the advancement of standardization and digitalization in the field of in vitro diagnostics, the need for hemostasis testing is diversifying, with increasing emphasis on more accurate and efficient testing operations. Particularly at small and medium-sized facilities, there is a growing demand for high-performance instruments that can reduce the burden on medical professionals while fitting into limited spaces.
Sysmex offers a wide range of products in the hemostasis field and has achieved the No.1 global market share.2 Furthermore, from 2024 onwards, Sysmex is expanding its direct sales regions and providing solutions tailored to each country's healthcare system, testing system, and customer needs.
This newly released product is the successor to the Automated Blood Coagulation Analyzer CA-600 Series.1 While maintaining its compact size, it delivers highly accurate testing results equivalent to those of the CN-6000/CN-3000. Furthermore, its simple workflow makes it easy to use even for inexperienced operators. In addition, the system is equipped with quality control and traceability functions that comply with ISO 15189 requirements, supporting the reliability of testing and quality assurance. As a result, this will make a significant contribution to strengthening testing systems and improving the quality of medical care, particularly at small and medium-sized facilities, where there is a growing need for automation and quality improvement in medical settings.
Going forward, Sysmex will continue to work to further enhance the value of hemostasis through product development and services that address the increasingly varied and sophisticated needs of medical settings, thereby contributing to improved patient outcomes.
