Educational Initiatives for the Next Generation
- Implementing Health Education for Elementary School Students and SDGs Education for Junior and Senior High School Students -
Based on Sysmex’s Policy on Corporate Citizenship Activities and Philanthropy, Sysmex engages in corporate citizenship initiatives activities, including “Contribution to a Healthy Society,” “Cooperation toward Vibrant Communities,” and “Support for Employees’ Corporate Citizenship Activities.” In fiscal 2025, Sysmex promoted initiatives toward a prosperous, healthy society through educational support, such as raising health awareness and nurturing future researchers.
Visiting lectures - Promoting Health Understanding and Health Education
In partnership with the Kobe City Board of Education, Sysmex has provided visiting lectures for elementary school students in Kobe to promote health understanding and health education. Using original teaching materials, volunteer employees serve as instructors to help students learn how the “blood” they study in textbooks relates to people’s health and to encourage actions that support their own health and the health of those around them. In fiscal 2025, Sysmex visited 12 elementary schools.
SDG Education - Exploring SDGs and Careers, Cultivating Next Generation of Researchers
Sysmex participates in the Kobe SDGs Exploration Program organized by the Kobe Tourism Bureau, providing educational support for junior and senior high school students.
The program is designed to encourage students to think about inquiry-based learning, the SDGs, and career development, and to provide opportunities for them to reflect on their future academic and career paths. In fiscal 2025, we welcomed students from eight schools.
In addition to a guided tour of our showroom, where we introduce Sysmex’s business activities, students also took part in a karuta-style game featuring Sysmex’s initiatives related to the SDGs. Through this interactive format, students enjoyed learning about Sysmex’s contributions to the SDGs.

Super Science High Schools - Cultivating the Next Generation of Researchers, Exploring Careers
Sysmex provides educational support at its research and development sites for high schools designated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology as Super Science High Schools, which offer advanced science and mathematics education.
As an activity to cultivate the next generation of scientists and engineers who can be active in the international arena, Sysmex has been providing educational support at our research and development bases for their students. This involves lectures on our company’s research and technologies, tours of R&D facilities, and opportunities for interaction with Sysmex researchers. In fiscal 2025, we welcomed students from six schools.
By leveraging our characteristics of carrying out business in the healthcare field, we will continuously contribute to the realization of a vibrant local communities through education for the next generation.
