Sysmex to Serve as Special Sponsor of Kobe Marathon 2026

– Supporting the Event Toward a Healthy, Prosperous Society and Vibrant Local Communities –

Sysmex Corporation announces that it will serve as a special sponsor of Kobe Marathon 2026 to be held on Sunday, November 15, 2026, organized by Hyogo Prefecture, Kobe City, and the Hyogo Athletics Association, continuing its sponsorship of the event this year as well.

“Thanks and Friendship”, the theme of Kobe Marathon, expresses a feeling of gratitude to all those who assisted in reconstruction following the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake. Headquartered in Hyogo Prefecture since its founding in 1968, Sysmex supports the theme of the marathon and has been a special sponsor since the event was first held.

Based on its group corporate philosophy, called the Sysmex Way, Sysmex has been active in the field of healthcare over many years, helping maintain people’s health. Under Sysmex’s Policy on Corporate Citizenship Activities and Philanthropy, the company promotes initiatives that contribute to a healthy society and the revitalization of local communities through sports, in addition to serving as a special sponsor of the Kobe Marathon, such as supporting a women’s track and field team and figure skaters based in Kobe.

Through initiatives such as exhibiting at the Kobe Marathon Expo and providing operational support by employee volunteers, Sysmex will support runners as well as everyone involved in the event.
