Sysmex Receives “Human Capital Management Excellence 2025 Gold Award” for Outstanding Human Capital Management and Information Disclosure

Sysmex Corporation received “Human Capital Management Excellence 2025 Gold Award” at the “Human Capital Survey 2025,” which was jointly organized and conducted by the HR Technology Consortium, the Association to Confirm the Human Investment Value for Enterprise, and the HR Research Institute.

■ What is the Human Capital Survey?

The Human Capital Survey is designed around the theme of “promoting essential efforts toward greater corporate value” and assesses listed and unlisted companies and organizations based on the results of the survey. Benchmarked against the Ito Report on Human Capital Management 2.0 (Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry) and the Guidelines for Human Capital Visualization (Cabinet Office), it is an extensive survey that evaluates how much each respondent practices human capital management that leads to greater corporate value. Based on the results of the survey, companies and organizations that have scored proportionally higher in their efforts are awarded with Human Capital Management Quality Gold/Silver.
Data from this survey is used to study businesses’ efforts toward human capital management to raise corporate value. Moreover, companies selected for their excellence and their actions are widely publicized. The survey also aims to help establish efforts toward human capital management and the disclosure thereof as a customary practice at companies and organizations in Japan, in the hope that they will continue to develop.

■ What Sysmex does for human capital management

Sysmex positions its human capital strategies as a core element of its overall management strategies, alongside its business and technological strategies. Sysmex organizes human capital management from the perspectives of “input,” “throughput,” and “output,” and sets value-added productivity* as the key KPI for output. Through this approach, Sysmex maximizes the utilization of its human capital while ensuring productivity, thereby building an organization capable of autonomous evolution.
Moreover, Sysmex has set detailed KPIs for human capital to conduct monthly or biannual monitoring according to the characteristics of each KPI in order to stay up to date on what is happening in the company and to take timely and appropriate measures.
In response to further globalization, including expansion into emerging markets, and portfolio diversification, Sysmex is focusing on developing and acquiring highly skilled professionals and next-generation leaders. Sysmex has included various initiatives in its medium- to long-term management plan to create an organization where diverse talent respect one another and demonstrate the highest level of teamwork. These actions have been communicated to diverse stakeholders through the annual Sysmex Reports (Integrated Reports) and Sysmex Sustainability Data Book.

Sysmex aims to continue expanding the effective use of its human resource management system across the Group, thereby creating work environments that enable more employees to build successful careers over the long term.
