To encourage employees to actively participate in social contribution activities, the Sysmex Group conducts the Sysmex Gives Back Campaign twice a year. This campaign serves as a designated period for intensifying corporate citizenship activities across the entire Group. During the campaign, a wide range of activities were carried out in the countries and regions where the Group operates, including blood donation programs; environmental initiatives such as tree planting and forest conservation; and support for people in need through donations and charitable activities. Approximately 5,000 employees worldwide participated in these activities.
In addition, Sysmex has established a Social Contribution Points Program to support employee participation in social contribution activities. Under this program, donations are made based on employees’ participation in eligible activities. In fiscal year 2025, approximately 2,200 employees participated in the program, with donations planned for three organizations: MIRAI KODOMO FOUNDATION, International Medical Volunteers Japan Heart, and the Japanese Red Cross Society.
As part of its social contribution activities, the Sysmex Group carried out the following initiatives. In October, during the month dedicated to Pink Ribbon awareness, Group companies collaborated on activities under the name “PINKTOBER*”, including donations related to breast cancer awareness programs and participation in charity walks. In November, the Kobe Marathon 2025, which Sysmex has supported as a special sponsor since its inaugural edition, was held, and employees participated as water station volunteers.
The Sysmex Group will continue to promote corporate citizenship activities that contribute to the realization of a healthy and fulfilling society.
*PINKTOBER is a term that combines “PINK” from the Pink Ribbon breast cancer awareness campaign and “TOBER” from the month of October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
