- 2020 Mar.
- Obtained first marketing approval in Japan for an in vitro diagnostic medical device, “2019-nCoV Fluorescence Detection Real-Time RT-PCR Kit“.
- 2020 Apr.
- Formulated the Sysmex declaration of a healthy company, “United In Sound Health“.
- 2020 Jun.
- Configured and began a PCR testing system within the Kobe Biomedical Innovation Cluster for the COVID-19 with the City of Kobe and SRL, Inc.
Jointly established D’PULA Medical Solutions Corporation with OPTiM Corporation.
- 2020 Sep.
- “Invention of a urine sample analyzer useful for the early detection of disease“ awarded the Fiscal 2020 Commendation for Science and Technology by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
Certified under the JICA-SDGs partner through dissemination of automated urinalysis diagnosis technology in the Republic of Ghana.

- 2021 Feb.
- Established a Portuguese subsidiary, Sysmex Portugal, S.A.

- Launched our next-generation flagship model in the hematology field, the XR-Series Automated Hematology Analyzer, and a compact 3-part WBC differential model, the XQ-Series Automated Hematology Analyzer.
- 2021 May
- Entered into joint development and investment agreements for the commercialization of an AI-based cell analysis technology with ThinkCyte, Inc.
Received an Invention Award for invention of multi-modularization of blood cell analyzer for improving test speed, from the 2021 National Commendation.
- 2021 Oct.
- Applicated for selection of new market segment “Prime Market“ on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
- 2022 Feb.
- Established a Saudi Arabian subsidiary, Sysmex LLC.
Formed a capital and business tie-up with KAINOS Laboratories in the immunochemistry field.
- 2022 Apr.
- Sysmex sponsored as a silver partner of Amplification of Lives, a thematic project which are a key feature of the 2025 World Exposition in Japan (the Expo 2025 Osaka).
- 2022 May
- Sysmex Astrego AB became a subsidiary.
Set “Carbon Neutral Targets“ to realize zero greenhouse gas emissions in real terms by 2040.
- 2022 Jun.
- Received an Invention Award for invention of rapid accurate method for measuring platelets using dye for platelets, from the 2022 National Commendation.
Sample transportation system modules for the automated hematology analyzer
- 2022 Jul.
- Launched new sample transportation system modules that can be connected to the XR-Series Automated Hematology Analyzer, our flagship models in the hematology field.
- 2022 Aug.
- Pilot, Inc. became a subsidiary.
UF-1500
- 2022 Sep.
- Launched the UF-1500 Fully Automated Urine Particle Analyzer, a new product for use in urine sediment testing.
- 2022 Oct.
- Established a joint venture AlliedCel with the co-founder JCR Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd.
- 2023 Mar.
- Entered into a global OEM agreement on hemostasis products with Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics Inc.
- 2023 Jun.
- Launched the HISCL β-Amyloid 1-42 Assay Kit and the HISCL β-Amyloid 1-40 Assay Kit in Japan to measure amyloid β in the blood.

- Launched PA-100 AST System, world's first testing system in Europe to detect antimicrobial susceptibility in just 30 minutes.
- 2023 Aug.
- Expanded the global business partnership agreement with Roche Diagnostics International Ltd.
Healthcare Science Hub Tokyo, an open innovation hub
- 2023 Oct.
- Established the new open innovation hub “Healthcare Science Hub Tokyo“.
Obtained an ISO 304141 certification Human Capital Reporting, as the first such certification that has been granted for the manufacturing industry in Asia.
- 2023 Dec.
- Signed an agreement with Fujirebio Holdings, Inc. for the mutual supply of reagent raw materials owned by both companies.
Megakaryon Corporation became a subsidiary.
- 2024 Feb.
- Expanded an alliance with CellaVision with a view to advance hematology solutions.
Carried out a two-for-one stock split.
- 2024 Apr.
- Received an Award for Science and Technology for our development of white blood cell five-part differentiation and an atypical white blood cell differentiation method, from the 2024 National Commendation.
- 2024 Jun.
- PA-100 AST System for rapid detection of antimicrobial susceptibility won one of the UK’s biggest science prizes “Longitude Prize on AMR.“
