Sysmex Report 2019 Receives the Grand Award in ARC Awards, One of the World’s Largest Annual Report Contests
Sysmex Corporation (HQ: Kobe, Japan; Chairman and CEO: Hisashi Ietsugu) received its first Grand Award (the highest level) in the Traditional Annual Reports category of the International ARC Awards 2020 for the Sysmex Report 2019.
The International ARC Awards are hosted by MerComm, Inc., an independent US awards organization. Each year, its annual report competition attracts numerous entries from companies, NGOs and government-affiliated organizations around the world. Free from the influences of specific industry sectors, advertisers and sponsors, the contest brings together judges from a wide range of fields, including various countries’ financial sectors, company representatives and the production industry, to ensure the fairest judging and evaluation possible. This year’s competition included 1,690 entries from 29 countries.
Sysmex has in the past won awards for its Annual Report, including the Gold Award in 2010 and 2017 and Bronze in 2011 and 2016. This is our first time to receive the topmost Grand Award.
Going forward, Sysmex will continue working to disclose useful financial and non-financial information to enhance stakeholders’ understanding of the Company’s medium- to long-term value-creation activities.
