Message from Leadership

Under the Sysmex Way, our corporate philosophy, the company’s mission is defined as "Shaping the advancement of healthcare.” Sysmex aims to grow as a sustainable company that creates social and economic values by offering new technologies and solutions that contribute to the advancement of healthcare, the realization of healthy lives for people, and ensure anshin* for society.

The corporate philosophy is implemented by each and every employee of Sysmex to realize the value creation story. In order to support employees to live physically and mentally fulfilling lives, we recognize health and productivity management as an important management issue, and in 2020 we formulated Sysmex Declaration of a Healthy Company “United In Sound Health”, and based on the declaration we have been continuously implementing various initiatives.

Sysmex has now formulated "Health and Productivity Management Strategy Map” in order to further promote strategic initiatives for materiality of health and productivity management. We will collaborate with our global group companies to promote not only mental and physical health of our group employees but also to increase the sense of fulfillment from their job.  By realizing the well-being of each and every employee, we will grow into a company that contributes to realize the optimal healthcare for each individual in the world by staying with them in their "healthcare journey”.

*Anshin is a word at the core of the Sysmex corporate philosophy that embodies the essence of what we have been pursuing since our foundation, and has the following meanings:
*A state in which individuals in society can be in a calm state of mind with little or no anxiety about their own health, or other matters.
