Sysmex Group Promotes “PINKTOBER,” a Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign — Expanding Further in Its Third Year

Sysmex Group is committed to supporting the global Pink Ribbon movement, which promotes the importance of early detection and treatment of breast cancer. Every October, we carry out a variety of initiatives under the banner of PINKTOBER*. Now in its third year, PINKTOBER continues to grow, with increased participation from employees across the Sysmex Group. It is becoming firmly established as a Group-wide initiative.

During the “Sysmex Gives Back Campaign,” which is a month dedicated to strengthening social contribution activities across the Sysmex Group, we are also promoting PINKTOBER activities. As part of our employee awareness initiatives, we share information about Pink Ribbon activities from around the world and provide education to encourage breast cancer screenings.
In addition, our employees actively plan and participate in various activities, such as purchasing Pink Ribbon merchandise to raise awareness, donating to charity funds by posting pink-themed photos, and joining charity walks to support cancer patients. We also introduce these initiatives at academic conferences and other events where we exhibit, thereby contributing to awareness activities outside the company.

Sysmex remains globally united in its commitment to advancing the Pink Ribbon movement and other social contribution activities.

*PINKTOBER is a term that combines “PINK” from the Pink Ribbon breast cancer awareness campaign and “TOBER” from the month of October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
