Implementing “Sysmex Gives Back Day”, a Group-wide Social Contribution Activities
Sysmex Group, observing a unified global theme of “Aim for a Healthier Society” in line with its Policy on Corporate Citizenship Activities and Philanthropy, promotes social contribution activities with the whole group acting in concert.
Based on that theme, we implemented “Sysmex Gives Back Day”, which comprises a program of activities from October through January. While taking preventive measures against the spread of COVID-19, and after considering where we can currently apply our social contribution efforts, we conducted a variety of social contribution activities in various countries and regions, including promotion of blood donor programs, vaccine donations through collection of used clothing, donation of face masks and liquid sanitizers, and provision of supplies for local communities. Overall, some 1,800 associates around the globe participated in the campaign.
Going forward, we will continue working together as a Group to promote social contribution activities in the aim of creating a fulfilling and healthy society.
