Sysmex Endorses Recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD)
Sysmex Corporation has expressed its support for recommendations as set forth by the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).
Established by the Financial Stability Board (FSB) by request of the G20, the TCFD is an industry-led task force dedicated to promoting and improving corporate climate-related financial disclosure. Sysmex supports the TCFD’s issued recommendations, and we will commit ourselves to thoroughly evaluating and managing our climate-related risks and opportunities, as well as to providing robust disclosures based on the TCFD’s provided framework.
With the establishment of our long-term environmental vision, “Sysmex Eco-Vision 2025,” we have been promoting environmental conservation throughout the lifecycles of our products and services, from development and manufacturing all the way through to sales and support and across the entire value chain of our business activities. We are committed to an ongoing, continually-heightened response to the challenges of climate change, that we might do our part toward the realization of a sustainable society.
