Description of the invention: This invention relates to an optical system of a blood coagulation measurement apparatus used for clotting methods, chromogenic methods, and immunoturbidimetric methods. In this invention, LED light sources are provided for respective lights having wavelengths of 660 nm, 405 nm, 800 nm. Lights from the LED light sources are collected and applied to a sample in a uniform intensity distribution. This invention has made it possible to replace a conventional halogen lamp with an LED. This leads to reduction of environmental l oad, such as reduction of waste resulting from replacement of light sources and reduction of power consumption. |

Description of the invention: This invention relates to a sample processing apparatus that measures/analyzes blood samples. In this invention, the sample processing apparatus is provided with two drawers in each of which a rack for holding sample containers is set. Even while a sample held in the rack in one drawer is being measured, a sample can be set in the rack in the other drawer. This allows the throughput to be maximized and leads to reduction of burden on laboratory technicians. |
