Sysmex to Participate in "Global Human Resource Development Community" Japan Public-Private Partnership Student Study Abroad Program

Sysmex Corporation (HQ: Kobe, Japan; Chairman and CEO: Hisashi Ietsugu) hereby provides notice of its decision to take part in the "Global Human Resource Development Community," a Japan public-private partnership student study abroad program established by the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO).

A stated objective of the "Japan Revitalization Strategy -JAPAN is BACK-," formulated by a Japanese Cabinet decision in June 2013, was to "create a new system by joint effort between the government and private sector including promotion and allowance of donations to reduce the economic burden of students studying abroad and provide opportunities for all motivated and capable young people to study abroad."
In line with this strategy, in February 2014 JASSO established the "Global Human Resource Development Community," a public-private partnership student study abroad program with participation from companies, the Japanese government, universities and students, to provide opportunities for all motivated and capable students to study abroad.

Sysmex approves of the aims of the "Global Human Resource Development Community," and has elected to take part in the program. Accordingly, Sysmex will contribute to the cultivation of the global human resources that will help drive the Japanese growth engine by building momentum for studying abroad and forming networks of people who have studied abroad through the "Global Human Resource Development Community"
