Sysmex Selected for Inclusion in the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index for the Eighth Consecutive Year
Sysmex Corporation has been selected for inclusion in the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World), a leading global index of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) investment, for the eighth consecutive year.
The Dow Jones Sustainability Indices are published by S&P Dow Jones Indices of the United States, and evaluate companies from three perspectives: the economy, the environment, and society. In fiscal 2023, the DJSI World includes 321 companies, 38 of which are Japanese.
Sysmex has been selected for inclusion in the DJSI World for the eighth consecutive year, and also named to the Dow Jones Sustainability Asia Pacific Index for the twelfth consecutive year.
Since our foundation, Sysmex’s fundamental management philosophy has been to instill confidence among our stakeholders. As a Group conducting business in the healthcare sector, Sysmex works alongside its business partners and employees to provide products and services to medical institutions and other customers in an effort to resolve healthcare issues. Furthermore, as a company with global operations, Sysmex recognizes increasingly serious environmental issues as having a high priority, and has been carrying out initiatives to reduce our environmental impacts.
Going forward, Sysmex will continue to strive to contribute to realizing a sustainable society and increase corporate value.
