Sustainability

The Sysmex Group has taken its 50th anniversary of establishment as an opportunity to raise “Aim for a healthier society” as a unified global theme based on its Policy on Corporate Citizenship Activities and Philanthropy. Throughout the Group, we have been promoting social contribution activities with a sense of unity.

As our first initiative for sustaining activities of this nature that involve the entire Group, in June we launched the “Sysmex Gives Back Challenge” as a program consistent throughout the Group. Through this program, we conducted blood donation and environmental activities in line with World Blood Donor Day and World Environment Day. In addition to blood donation activities in various regions and countries, we promote cleanup activities, commuting by means other than personal vehicles, awareness activities to reduce plastic trash, and other environmental activities, as well as region-specific activities. Around the world, some 2,000 associates took part in these activities.

Going forward, we will continue working together as a Group to promote social contribution activities in the aim of creating a fulfilling and healthy society.
