R&D History and Technology Awards

In 1963, Sysmex became the first company in Japan to succeed in the development of hematology analyzers. Since then, we have pursued a host of ground-breaking technologies, broadening the possibilities of in vitro diagnostics. This section describes the background for the development of Sysmex and its businesses and introduces some of the numerous awards the Company has received.

Starting with the development of Japan’s first hematology analyzer, Sysmex has been responsible for a variety of ground-breaking technological developments in the in vitro diagnostics domain. Here we introduce the Company’s development history.

Technology Awards

Sysmex has received numerous awards, including the Commendation for Science and Technology by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports Science and Technology.
