Sysmex Selected as One of 2017 Global 100’s Most Sustainable Companies in the World

  Sysmex Corporation (HQ: Kobe, Japan; Chairman and CEO: Hisashi Ietsugu) has been selected as one of the 2017 Global 100's Most Sustainable Companies in the World, a ranking conducted by Canadian publisher Corporate Knights, for the second consecutive year.

  The Global 100 is a list of the world’s 100 most sustainable companies. The top 100 are selected from among companies in a host of industries throughout the world with market capitalization of US$2.0 billion or more (as of October 1, 2016). Corporate Knights selects these companies on the basis of corporate value characteristics including corporate governance, social and environmental aspects.
  This year’s Global 100 was announced during the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum, held in Davos, Switzerland, from January 17 to 20, 2017. Sysmex ranked 70th overall, moved up from 88th last year, and first in the Health Care Equipment & Supplies sector.
