Lectures on “Functions of the Blood,” “the Importance of staying healthy,” etc.
Teaching class at a junior high school
As a part of "Bring a Smile to Children on Earth" a program meant to realize a suggestion on social contributions, employees from Sysmex Corporation in February 2009 visited Kobe Municipal Hasetani Junior High School to teach a class for their seventh graders.
They began by introducing Sysmex’s R&D activities, followed by lectures on “functions of the blood,” “the importance of staying healthy,” etc. Students were invited to measure the hemoglobin levels of their blood by using our analyzer which measures bloodstream hemoblogin without taking samples. The students seemed to enjoy this “new experience,” and the class garnered positive feedback from them.
We are planning to organize more classes like this in fiscal 2009.
