Sysmex Corporation (HQ: Kobe, Japan; President: Hisashi Ietsugu) has established an overseas subsidiary, Sysmex Canada Inc., in Canada. Sysmex Canada will provide sales and support of diagnostic instruments and reagents and laboratory information systems from January 2008, taking over these operations from a Canadian distributor.
Since the 1980s, Sysmex has indirectly handled sales and support operations in Canada through distributors. From January 2008, the newly established Sysmex Canada will provide direct sales and support of Sysmex products, which will help the Sysmex Group leverage its collective strengths to serve its customers in the region by providing them with effective solutions.
Strengthening the setup for sales and support operations in Canada, Sysmex will contribute to further improving testing quality and efficiency while expanding its business.
