Our Principal Diagnostics Fields

  • Hematology - Hematology testing involves measuring and analyzing the number, type and size of red, white and other blood cells to determine whether more precise testing is needed.
  • Hemostasis - Testing the blood's ability to coagulate allows medical professionals to diagnose hemophilia, determine the tendency toward thrombosis and evaluate the liver function.
  • Immunochemistry - Using as a reagent the serum that rises to the top as blood precipitates, this type of testing determines the presence of the hepatitis virus, cancer and other infections.
  • Clinical Chemistry - Measuring the enzymes, sugars and proteins that are present in blood serum and plasma allows medical professionals to determine a body's nutritional status and liver and kidney functions, as well as to test for such diseases as hyperlipemia and arteriosclerosis.
  • Urinalysis - Testing urine for the presence and status of sugars, proteins and blood cells helps medical professionals diagnose a variety of illnesses.
